Employment Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED; position-specific education requirements may apply
- Successfully complete all pre-employment screenings, including background checks and any required drug screenings
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for positions requiring transportation
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Must meet all state and agency training and credential requirements applicable to the position

Residential Direct Support Professional — Evenings
- Typical shift: 2:15 PM–11:30 PM
- Schedule: Weekdays and weekends as assigned
Evening Residential Direct Support Professionals assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. Duties may include personal support, meals, transportation, household activities, community participation, and assistance with individual goals.
Residential Direct Support Professional — Overnights
- Typical shift: 11:15 PM–8:30 AM
- Schedule: Weekdays and weekends as assigned
Overnight staff provide supervision and support in our residential homes while helping ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of the people we serve.
Direct Support Professional — Day Programs
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Setting: Elm City Center day programs
Day Program staff support individuals during weekday program hours through activities, skill-building, community participation, and employment-related supports.
Relief / Substitute Staff
- Schedule: Varies based on staffing needs
- Hours: May include days, evenings, overnights, or weekends
- Employment type: Part-time or as needed
Relief staff help cover open shifts in residential and day program settings. This can be a good fit for someone who needs flexible scheduling or wants to work part-time.
