The Clyde York Social Center

Named in honor of the tireless efforts of Mr. Clyde York, the social center provides an informal and structured atmosphere for leisure activities.  Due to the COVID pandemic and reduction in funding, the Social Center stopped operation since before March 2020, but has resumed operation as a place for meetings and special events.

Hopefully there will be a time that programming will be able to resume at this favorite after-hours venue where people may “drop-in” for coffee or soft drinks and participate in various activities such as watching TV, reading, visiting, or just plain relaxing.  When the York Center is fully open a trained staff member is on duty to organize activities, encourage participation, lend a friendly ear, and assist with any concerns.
